FAQ

How do you build a card GRID?

All Graded or Raw Individualized Displays (GRIDs) are modular, meaning the frames will connect together in the same way to create the appearance of a unified larger display. Small, H-shaped connector pieces are supplied with each custom card display order. Displays can be assembled or diassembled as many times as you would like. Glue is not required to keep the frames connected, but can be utilized if you want to lock in the perfect design.

What color options are available?

At this time you can make a custom card display with the following color options:

Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, Orange, Purple, Yellow, Pink, Grey, Silver, Gold, Dark Blue, Light blue, Gunmetal, and Brown.

If there are other colors you would like to use, please reach out. We will do our best to find a match for your desired color.

How big of a card display can you make?

Nobody wants a bunch of holes in their walls, so the frames are designed in a way that allows many to frames to safely hang from a single nail or screw!

When displayed on the wall the only limiters to size are what nail(s)/screws(s) you are using and how many hanging adapters you use. When using single hanging adapter placed on a nail in drywall, it is not recommended that a display exceed 10lbs. That's roughly 50 graded frames! It is recommended any custom card display greater than 45 frames use more than one hanging adapter, just to be safe.

Also please keep in mind how things balance. If your desired display isn't symmetrical or uses an even number of frames across, you will likely need to use two hanging adapters.

What frames work best?

There are now two versions! The original frames are still great, but the Universal Frames bring greater versatility!

Like the original, the Universal Cards Frames can display graded and ungraded cards. Our Universal Graded Frames allow you to display standard PSA, CGC, SGC, BGS, and TAG graded slabs.* The Universal Ungraded Frames will now display magnetic one-touch card holders, in addition to toploaders.

Additional connection points were added to all frame edges, allowing frames to be offset horizontally and vertically.

The original card Trading Card Frame is still available. It is great for individuals hoping to create a display that can showcase their graded PSA and CGC slabs, as well as toploaders.
