FAQ

How do you build a card GRID?

All Graded or Raw Individualized Displays (GRIDs) are modular, meaning the frames will connect together in the same way to create the appearance of a unified larger display. Small, H-shaped connector pieces are supplied with each custom card display order. Displays can be assembled or diassembled as many times as you would like. Glue is not required to keep the card frames connected, but can be utilized if you want to lock in the perfect design.

What is the best way to display your card Grid?

Your custom card display can be hung on the wall or presented on a table. Both hanging and stand adapters are included with every order. The stand adapters are made with translucent PLA, and the hanging adapters will match the color(s) of the frames within the order. If you would like alternative color hanging adapters at no extra charge, please contact us at cardgridllc@gmail.com anytime before your order ships. We will do our best to accomodate all customization requests.

What color options are available?

At this time you can make a custom card display with the following color options:

Black, White, Translucent, Grey, light Grey, Dark Grey, Space Grey, Dark Blue, Blue, Light Blue, Gunmetal, Purple, Dark Red, Red, Bright Red, Dark Pink, Pink, Orange, Yellow, and Brown.

How big of a card display can you make?

Custom card display hanging on the wall:

When displayed on the wall the only limiters to size are what nail(s)/screws(s) you are utilizing and how many hanging adapters you use. When using single hanging adapter placed on a nail in drywall, it is not recommended that a display exceed 10lbs. Generally speaking a 50 graded frame display will weight about 10lbs, therefore it is recommended any custom card display greater than 50-55 frames use more than one hanging adapter to be safe. If a more secure wall screw is used, theoretically a greater number of frames could be utilized.

Custom card display on a table using stand adapters:

Multiple stands should be used when the width of the grid exceeds 3 frames. It is not recommended to make tabletop Displays greater than 3 frames tall unless the stands are secured down in some way.
